Mmmmm…Google Ice Cream
Posted in: Adam's Blog
The excitement is building for Google Fiber.
I still think it sounds like a breakfast cereal, but that’s neither here nor there.
Madison is holding a meeting tonight to get public input, so we can submit the best application possible. It sounds like Google will come to the winning city and set up another internet service provider option, which will include high speed fiber optic connections to residential areas. Here’s the video they’ve posted on it.
Sweet! Internet at 100 times faster than it is now. I’ll take it. We’re a pretty tech savvy city too. Why not Madison.
If the idea of a public meeting turns you off, what about this as an attractor for your input tonight. There’s going to be a new flavor of Google- Babcock Hall Ice Cream unveiled at the meeting.
Hmmm…I wonder what it’ll taste like? I’m guessing something crunchy, for fiber purposes. It’ll probably have a vanilla base because of Google’s blank background homepage. Then throw on multi-colored sprinkles in the Google blue, red, yellow and green.
Mmmmm…ice cream. It does a body good.
